The ArtBLISS Inaugural Event<\/strong><\/em> has come and gone much too <\/em>fast.\u00a0 My mind is reeling thinking about the weekend, and I am going to commit these wonderful days to memory.\u00a0 Thank you to each and every person who stepped in to the ArtBLISS world over the weekend….YOU made the event the best art retreat in town.\u00a0 Please allow me to share a few pictures with you, as I just can’t contain the excitement I felt\u00a0over the\u00a0last few days spent with friends\u00a0(old and new)\u00a0and with our amazing instructors.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We received fantastic support from our family.\u00a0 Jeanette and I are grateful to our husbands who helped from freeing\u00a0up time\u00a0for us to dedicate to planning (and for making our flyers and name badges!), to stopping by the event with out kids to root us on.\u00a0 We were also grateful for\u00a0the support shown for the students and instructors\u00a0whose spouses and children traveled with them so they could attend.<\/p>\n

One of our attendees surprised us with beautiful enameled bangles to commemorate the occasion….complete with a quote from the ArtBLISS<\/a> website.\u00a0 Thank you Jean<\/a>!<\/p>\n

There were reunions between friends….<\/p>\n

And meeting some of our favorite artists for the first time\u00a0 (Deryn Mentock<\/a>)…..<\/p>\n

There was was plenty of hands-on learning like we all hoped for….<\/p>\n

Show and tells after the workshops (enameled beads by Christine<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Charm swapping (ceramic charms by Jenny<\/a>)………<\/p>\n

Plenty of shopping….<\/p>\n

Fun stamping at a Make and Take (thanks, Angela<\/a>!)…..<\/p>\n

And\u00a0lots of chocolate….<\/p>\n
